Visitors to and purchases made via this website are subject to these Terms & Conditions which are subject to amendments anytime at the sole discretion of Mindful Studio (HK) Company Limited ("Mindful Studio").

Generally all clients must be over 14 years of age to participate in any of our classes. Clients who are under 14 years of age may still participate provided they are accompanied by a guardian over 18 years of age. All classes must be paid for in advance and all clients agree to our 6-hour cancellation policy when cancelling or re-scheduling group classes. If you are booked into a group class and miss it or cancel it with less than 6 hours’ notice, you will be charged for the class. Please arrive within 5 to 10 minutes before the start of your class. Late arrivals will not be accepted and will be charged for the missed class.

 

1. Personal Information & Data Protection

Usage of your personal information is administered by Mindful Studio in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, which is part of these Terms & Conditions. We will use your personal information to provide you with updates on our products, services and facilities as well as to maintain our records, process applications and payments, and to verify your identity. Your information may be kept for a reasonable amount of time for the above reasons. Your information may be shared with third parties only if it is necessary to comply with any legal or regulatory obligations, for the prevention of fraud or other crimes, and in the case of medical emergencies. By agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, you consent to the use of your information voluntarily supplied to us, for the reasons & manner explained above.

Please get in touch with us if your personal details have changed, or if you would prefer to be contacted in a different way. Failing such notice, any communications sent to you will be assumed to have been received within 5 days of the communications being sent. You can update your details by contacting mailbox@mindfulstudiohk.com.

 

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

You can change or cancel any bookings without penalty, up to 6 hours before the starting time of the class for group classes, and 24 hours for private sessions. By booking group classes within 6 hours of the scheduled start time, you are not entitled to change or cancel the class.

 

All payments and fees are non-refundable.

 

If a class is cancelled by Mindful Studio (e.g. due to adverse weather conditions), we will make every effort to contact you via email or telephone to let you know.

 

3. Lateness Policy

If you are not in the studio at least 5 minutes before for the start of your class, your place may be given away.

Due to the peaceful ambience of our classes and to respect other clients who did show up on time, once classes commence we can exercise our right to exclude you from the class.

If you turn up late for a class and are not admitted, you will still be charged for the class.

 

4. Personal Belongings & Lost Property

All personal belongings brought into the studio are at the client's own risk, we do not accept any liability for loss or damages to such items.

Mindful Studio, its principals, agents, employees, and volunteers accept no responsibility for any property left on the premises.

 

5. Safety & Hygiene

In light of recent COVID-19 epidemic all clients will be asked to undergo temperature checks and will be asked to sanitise their hands upon entry into the premises. Clients who have a high temperature or demonstrate symptoms of illness will be asked to leave the premises and re-schedule their class without penalty.

When a client attends class on any given day, the client warrants and declares that:

a) S/he did not test positive for COVID-19 within the past 7 days; and

b) neither him/herself nor anyone client had been in close contact with was in mandatory quarantine within the past 7 days;

c) That s/he has not been present at any of the buildings gazetted under "Compulsory Testing Notice" in the past 7 days; and

d) s/he is not currently experiencing fever or respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, runny nose, flu, etc.).

All clients are requested to wear a form of dress that is appropriate for the session they are attending.

 

6. Medical Issues, Injuries & Pregnancies

If you have been advised by a doctor not to continue with any form of exercise due to an injury or other medical reasons and your membership or sessions are still valid, please get in touch with us immediately. We will require a letter from your doctor and your account will be extended for a reasonable period of time.

Mindful Studio, its principals, agents, employees, and volunteers accept no responsibility for any client who does not follow the instructions given in class or has not disclosed medical conditions or recent injuries to the teacher. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to inform the instructor if you feel unwell or any discomfort.

If you find that you are pregnant, please let us know as soon as possible as some of our classes will not be suitable for you. 

 

7. Credit Packs (Group and Private)

All credit pack purchases are final and cannot be refunded, transferred or exchanged for cash or credit.

​

Credit packs of 5 Classes expire 6 months from the date of purchase, and pack of 10 Classes expire 12 months from the date of purchase.

 

You cannot suspend a credit pack, unless there is a medical reason – please see Medical Issues, Injuries & Pregnancy for more information.

 

8. Private Sessions

All private sessions must be pre-booked, up to 24 hours before the session begins (i.e. minimum 24 hours in advance).

A 24 hour cancellation policy is in place for private sessions.

 

You may reschedule the session once with more than 24 hours’ notice, however if you cancel a second time you will be charged for that session.

​

If you do not show up for your scheduled session, you will also be charged for that session.

 

9. Fee Changes

Mindful Studio reserves the right to change any of its fees from time to time. Such changes will not affect plans that have already been purchased.

Apple and the Apple logo are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions. App Store is a service mark of Apple. Inc. Google Play is the trademark of Google Inc. Android is a trademark of Google Inc. The Yoga Alliance name, trademark(s) and logo(s)  are the intellectual property of Yoga Alliance.
